Novel contact force measurement in vibratory finishing

The measurement accuracy of vibratory surface finishing forces (VSFFs) are seriously affected by the wiring force sensor, because trajectory sensor with is significantly different that workpiece without wiring. To solve this problem, a triaxial wireless (WFS) developed to measure VSFFs between media and surfaces in under various operation conditions. Experimental results show normal impacts dominant (VSF), mean direction on front larger than side rear workpiece. mass shape have significant effect has effects roughness hardness VSF. In order get best quality finishing, material shape/size, period time, initial position workpiece, other conditions should be optimized.
